yes, the information is correct as u posted it from CIC. So now lies the question of how the husband obtained his citizenship. Was he born in Canada? Was he an immigrant? Was it passed it by his parents.
If is a yes from the first 2, then his baby will acquire citizenship from his father. But if not, his baby will not be a citizen because as rules have changed that citizenship can only be passed on to the first generation ( the father is the first generation).
