1. Donno about taxi fees. but if you will go from Alpensia, I don\'t see any other options other than taxi unless you rent a charter service. for approximate taxi fees, can call Alpensia. the festival is next to a small town, guess it wouldn\'t be too difficult to call a taxi.
2. last year we were there on Feb 3. not very cold ,but a bit windy at ice fishing area. we spent 4 hrs there, mainly played with snow tire, ice cycling which interested the kids most. ice fishing was just to have an experience, didn\'t catch fish at all.
3. there were restaurants and food court serving sashimi, hot pot fish, steam fish etc. don\'t worry about food.
4. for tickets, you can buy package tickets or individual tickets. we have 11 ppl, we bought package tickets for each family plus few individual tickets for those who don\'t fish at all. you have to rent a tent, but we didn\'t, and because it was windy and scattered showers, so kids ended up wet. so beware. if it rains again, I would rent a tent.
