Hi I just moved in toronto from HK! Everything is very new to me and I have no friend here! I'm with a little boy 2yrs old, would like to make more friends here:) and bring along the kids have some activities together:)

I will also immigrate to Toronto next year and also planning to stay in Oakville.
Could you please advise how are the schools there?

I went there last time. It seems very nice.

I'd like to buy a townhouse there. How is the price now? can you give me some advise where should I stay?

I got a 5 years old girl and 1.5 years old son.

Hi mimi,
It's nice to know that you are moving to toronto and will choose to live in Oakville:) Here is really a nice place! Quite and near the marina!

Let's keep in touch! When you really move in, pls let me know! Here is very less Asian!

What I'm going to know more is the Chinese grocery near Mississauga where is more Asian:)

The housing price for a house here is around cdn1000 per ft
And I can see many new house are building up, I guess here have the demand!

I am likely moving to Toronto with my husband, 2.5 yr old and 10 mth old next year. Wish that we could adapt ASAP by then, since I know no one there... kinda worrying

Hi ihcneeled, when are you expecting to move back next year? We are about to leave around mid-July if the family sponsorship goes smooth by the time.
