私家順產都好似2-3萬（寶血）

你美國有冇保險？收費好睇你用咩plan.我第一胎用左7千美金，第二胎2千美金（老公轉左工同保險）
我2胎都順產，但如果開刀就肯定天文數字

如果政府生非港人床位都好似幾千一日啫，住2-3日都可能唔駛一萬（但係咪唔收雙非？

你本身係citizen 就邊到生都唔係大問題，只係留意產後支援邊到多啲

諗住香港私家開刀，so far research 到要7-14萬(for private room)，美國無insurance 因為不是長住那邊

美國冇保險的話，私家醫院唔一定單人房，十一二年前順產都要三萬美金，咁計落其實同喺香港生差不多，邊度生最重要睇你有冇人幫到你坐月。

花旗太太生活在花旗國，留意時差，你問我未必即時答到。

Hk Public hospital standard are excellent.

I chose to give birth to both of my kids in Hong Kong instead of US. One at Baptist (the only hospital that had available spot for me that year), and one at Union Hospital.

I never mind the rain from the sky, as long as I have the sun in your eyes~

乜唔係在美國生也可以拿到香港身分證？只要父母是香港人，在那裡生子女也有香港身分證吧？

I found a OBGYN that's affiliated with Union Hospital, thru the dr, I booked a spot by paying certain deposit (I forgot the amount, close to 10K maybe). Then thru out the pregnancy, I had my check up at my OBGYN's clinic and only went to the hospital for quad screen test. Overall, it's a very nice experience. I had no complains of the facility or service received compared to Baptist, they even had gourmet food you could order which I did, but I do think the nurses at Baptist Hospital are more professional and attentive, especially during the night shifts.
I was able to recover faster than expected (my second C section), the OBGYN released me one day earlier even though I booked the 5 day package. My total bill was a little bit under 60K (in 2013).

Not exactly. If your child is born overseas, and you try to apply a HKID for him/her, there is a question regarding your foreign status you were holding while the child was born. If you were a greencard holder or has a foreign citizenship, your child will not automatically be qualified to receive a HKID. That's one of the reasons my two kids were born in HK. To save a lot of hassle.

Thank you so much for sharing

I didn't know that before...

I am a Us citizen and my hubby is from the U.K.
Hopefully my kids can obtain both citizenship in the future
