請問有冇喺法國醫院順產又可以成功餵母乳嘅媽媽？因為第一胎喺法國醫院生，下午生完要到第二朝先安排我去親餵，親餵完又補奶粉（仲要係 nuk 奶咀，好易啜），搞到第一胎好遲先上奶，再加埋有啲產後抑鬱，最後未能成功餵母乳。
所以想請教吓有冇媽媽要求生完即刻親餵？同埋入院時醫院會問你揀邊隻奶粉俾 BB, 係咪可以堅持唔揀，一定要全母乳？（之前我同佢地講話我要餵母乳，姑娘都叫我揀咗先，母乳可以照餵，但我發現 bb 好明顯慣咗奶樽，因為太易啜）
今次第二胎好希望可以成功做到全母乳餵哺

以我所知法國醫院不會抱BB比媽媽床邊餵，所以不能夠生完好快有得埋身，要第二天落得床先可以自己去BB房餵。就係呢個原因，我冇揀喺法國醫院生。

生完大約3-4日先開始上奶, 我反而覺得夠鐘先去餵可以休息多D,有得補奶粉唔駛夠心bb餓親無壓力仲有幫助餵母乳。
我b而家全人奶仲間半夜/朝早c6幫手餵就會補粉

姑娘話bb好好,所以自己開心舒服最緊要

我朋友。。。不過BB食得唔好，所以佢就算係FTM都被迫做泵媽。。。我聽佢講都覺得呢間醫院對母乳support麻麻地。

我兩胎開刀生都出院時己上奶，阿b全人奶。入院時可選不補粉及先埋身再杯餵少量水。不過因為我乳頭平問題，同埋兩個仔食得太急太大力，所以一直全泵。而家第二胎一個半月，仍然全泵，而且夠奶餵埋大仔，大仔15個月大。

係呀... 我第一胎喺法國生完都覺得呢間醫院對母乳差不多零 support 咁濟。每次去餵奶房餵bb 都仲要喺門口排隊等開門、排隊洗手戴口罩同著餵奶衫（都唔知換嚟做乜，只係薄薄一件外套）對於生完已經勁攰+傷口痛嘅媽媽嚟講真係好沮喪，不過我睇開嗰個婦產科醫生只喺嗰度接生，而我同我老公又好信佢，所以今胎都諗住去返法國醫院，同埋聽講其他私家醫院都係一樣，只有政府醫院先至push啲媽媽餵母乳

我今次試吓強硬啲話唔補粉先。不過冇諗過醫院肯幫你用杯餵，因為太花時間同麻煩，覺得啲姑娘理得你，最緊要快快趣食完奶唔好阻住佢地做嘢：(

我在浸會生，好support 人奶，但不會push 。我本身一定要自己埋身餵到，不想做泵媽媽，所以好堅持生完兩、三個句盡快餵，浸會好樂意定時抱過來比我埋身。自己落得床就餐餐走去BB房埋身餵，半夜也起身餵，同姑娘講明不用代勞。另外也有要求過cup feeding 或泵出來比姑娘餵，姑娘全部也順應我要求。現在BB四個月，一直全人奶，早晚埋身，返工就泵出來。

我也是响法國醫院生，首六個月全母乳，之後泵奶直至二歳半。

頭幾日媽媽奶量不會太多是正常，姑娘好好會從旁觀察寶寶吸食的動作，錯咗會糾正，有問必答，醫院亦提供餵母乳的講座。每個人的身體狀況不一樣，可能你第二胎的母乳會多過第一胎，不要過慮，希望你奶量節節上升！

聽落浸會都幾好咁喎。可惜法國醫院好似怕打擾病房入面其他媽媽，好似只有開刀生嗰啲先會推bb入媽媽房俾佢抱吓，順產嗰啲只能喺指定時間隔住塊玻璃睇bb，俾人感覺醫院唔理媽媽感受，同唔重視親子關係

My first baby was born in STM. I faced the same problem because the nurses there and policies don’t support breastfeeding mums. I insisted no milk powder and on demand feeding every 3 hours. I didnt know how to breastfeed for my first baby but didn’t get too much support. So I was tired because I have to wake up and walk to the baby room, and my baby couldn’t latch / feed properly in the first few weeks, and even needed to go back to the hospital for blue Light because of jaundice (yellow skin). Next baby I changed hospital and delivered in aventis hospital. The support there is much better for breastfeeding mums. Anyway I successfully breastfed my first child fully without formula for 3 years. Add oil but you must insist you want full breastfeeding to the nurses there.

Yah now i understand that the key to successful bfing is being 200% determined and that was what i lacked last time.

So did u tell the nurses there that u still wanna bf in the middle of the night and so they let u? Cos i rmb their last feeding session is around 9pm or sth unless u make a special request of night feeding by urself. And may i know how long did u wait until u r allowed to bf ur baby since delivery? That's my major concern cos i am so afraid that the longer u wait, the more difficult it is to successfully bf :(
I am planning to bring my breast pump with me this time and will start pumping once i am sent back to my room so i could stimulate milk production before i can actually bf the baby. Hope that'll work

I insisted no formula, and they asked me to sign a form which I did. So no choice they had to allow me to enter during night time. I remember I was the only night feeding mum. I had to set alarm clock every 3 hours and walk there. It was lonely but i thought it was the right thing to do. You try to insist skin to skin after delivery so baby can start feeding after giving birth, but you need to check with the nurses because I didn’t try this last time. Are you going for natural birth or c section?

Pumping is difficult in the first week. For both my babies I knew I had the milk because my breasts had milk because they felt so hard, painful and lumpy after 5 days but I tried to pump and nothing came out. So I gave up and just fed my baby directly and counted the number of wet and dry diapers instead. Most important is to ensure your baby feeds directly and correctly. Tell the nurses don’t bottle feed. If your breasts feel sore and can’t pump out you let the baby feed directly, and also learn to express some out with your hand in case the pump doesn’t work.

I delivered by natural birth, so the moment I could get off the bed (around 3-4 hours) I went to the room. But this depends on you.

If you go for c section or you feel too tired then you might not be able to feed right away and the nurses will give formula. In this situation you have 2 choices
1) tell the nurses to syringe or cup feed
2) hand express milk and pass to the nurses

I learned that in some hospitals (overseas), mums who have babies with special conditions are advised to hand express colostrum and store them in small syringes before delivery. But you need to check and read carefully if it is safe for you. You can google hand express colostrum before delivery.
