兩樣都唔好 ,數學應是訓練小朋友的邏輯思維,數手指和數算盤對將來學習數學作用不大,唔好徙錢啦!

這位家長說對了一半, 邏輯思維是重要, 但訓練數感也重要.

小學數學的5大範疇, 包括了:
1. 數字
2. 度量
3. 圖形與空間
4. 數據處理
5. 代數

初小非常著重數字和基本運算能力, 如果小朋友的數感好, 可以不用上數學班, 家長只需在日常生活中盡量讓小朋友接觸數學便可.

但如果小朋友數感弱, 學習珠心算是一個不錯的選擇.

個人不建議學指心算, 這只是一種速算方法, 但對理解數字方面則無太大幫助.

元朗廣場麥大勞對著大馬路門口旁邊有一間特價書店.很易找到的.有一些訓練小孩子邏輯思維,簡單數學概念,空間感的練習.也有教媽媽要如何幫孩子的書.但要花點時間找找.
數手指是一個好的方法.如果孩子願意數手指.已經建立了一部自己的"計數機".

我都會花d時間同小朋友買書一齊做練習
加埋同佢報名上堂~

我覺得我囡囡都開始掌握到邏輯思考的模式
真正睇到對佢有無幫助
我相信要到小學真係計數時就會知

不過我朋友的仔仔之前都係咁上堂
上左小學數學真係開得好快
快上手同容易明白

所以~我相信係有幫助^^

My son is studying 珠算, 現在6級. 其實我都吾知對佢在學習學校的數學有冇好處. 不過佢有興趣學就給他試試. 上次學校考試我叫他最好用直式計算, 因為afraid佢用珠算快得滯會錯, 是不是有D矛盾

Hi, ++EE.

Elise started to learn abacus calculation in the first term of P.1 (maybe a bit too late when comparing with others~) as I found that she was quite weak in calculating. To some extent, I think it helps her to do sums.

She is not so intelligent indeed that it is a challenging work for me to think of some ways to improve her Maths.

I don't know what level she belongs to as she has never had the examination. I just want her to have some fun and it's not for academic purpose.

Actually I am quite confused about the levels of the abacus & mental calculation.

For example, there are 12 levels for both abacus and mental calculation in Association of Professional Abacus Education Limited. However, in Chinese Abacus Association, the levels of abacus calculation are ranging from level 6 to level 1 while those of mental calculation are from level 10 to level 1.

唔同地方開的珠心算分級數都有d唔同
所以我估學開就最好跟返同一個地方學會好d

Martin started to learn 珠算 on Mar09, 佢學了珠算後明顯計數快咗, 我只知分12 levels, I also haven't let Martin to attend exam, but his teacher said he is studying Level 6. I will let him to attend the Exam on on 1/1/2011 for Level 6.

Just rec'd my son phone, he said there's only 4 classmates in 1E can go to P.2A. I wonder why so less students in 1E can go to 2A wor ????

Elise and her younger brother learn abacus calculation together. However, I realized that sometimes my son (he's just 5) can do calculation faster than Elise.

I think it's the difference between boys and girls.

Elise told me that, instead of four, seven students in 1E could entre Class 2A in the coming academic year. They are Martin (for sure

), Bosco Tam, Bowie Tsang, Hin Ching, Betty Ng, Justin Lo and Elise.

Thanks for your information. I also wondered why Aurora Tsang and Betty Ng cannot enter Class 2A, ha ~

I knew that Class 1B also has 7 kids enter to Class 2A ~

通常男仔D Maths都好過女仔, 吾知點解, 哈~

明天拿成績表了, 吾知亞仔Result點呢 ? 因為佢今次Maths考得吾系咁好

Entering Class A is the dream of most parents. However, at the same time, it would bring tension to both students and parents.

To me, I just want Elise can have a happy school life without any pressure. Hopefully Elise can learn happily in Class 2A.

My target is that she can be the top 20%. It's already Ok!

I always believe that learning is a long-term race. If she can learn happily, she can achieve what she wants finally. That's my aspiration!
