好似唔係住730日咁少喎..."You must have resided in Canada for at least three years (1,095 days) in the past four years before you apply. This does not apply to children under 18." from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/cit ... ligibility.asp#time

PR is stand for Permanent Resident. (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/residents/new_immigrants.asp) Everyone first immigrate to Canada (doesn't matter by marriage, skill worker or etc.), you will receive your PR card (I think some people call it the 楓葉咭). You will then need to either maintain your PR status or fulfill the requirement and apply for the citizenship.
The different between PR and citizen are: PR will expire and you will need to renew (there are also requirements for renewal); PR will not be allow to vote or apply for passport; one of the parents need to be a citizen for children born outside of Canada to automatically become a citizen.
Some countries not allow dual citizenship, example China. Therefore you can still keep your original citizenship while you are a permanent resident, however, once you become a Canadian Citizenship, you will need to give up your original citizenship.
