As we dive deeper into the Pearson stories, we'll get to know that Jack is no perfect guy, just like all of us ordinary people. He however redeems himself to become a better person and remains the most remarkable character until his death. Ah yes, you're right. I'd love to have Jack as my father. His kids are everything to him!
Indeed I love almost all the other characters. They come to me as real people, flaws and all.
I just looked up. S2E13 and E14 reveal the mystery of Jack's death and explain why Kate is forever haunted by guilt. So have a box of Kleenex ready for these episodes
I haven't watched New Amsterdam so don't recognize the actress, but to be honest Olivia is the least likeable character in TIS.
