It depends. If your company has a HR handbook, you may want to refer the handbook for firm policy. If not, you can find out from HR dept. Normally, for any accrued but unused vacation days, you can get reimbursed. Also, if your company 抄 few people due to downsizing or restructuring, it's a laid-off. You may entitle to severance pay.
In this case, try to check with your colleagues / ex-colleagues for your entitlement. There should be dept of labor in SFO... In NY, workers can get paid from dept of labor for1/2 of the year or so.
