Itinerary:
Day 1: Departure, Outbound to Munich
Day 2: Deutsches Museum (1/2 day); city tour in Altstadt
Day 3-4 : Legoland in Guenzborg
Day 5-8: Transfer to Stuttgart
- Kid's stuff: Ritter Sport Chocolate Factory; kids attended workshop on how to make chocolate, adult visited chocolate museum and shopping
- Kids stuff: Kletternwald
- Shopping: Breuninger, Koenigstrasse
- Sightseeing: Altstadt (old town), Old palace, Mercedes-Benz Museum
Day9-10: Transfer to Fuessen
-Sightseeing: Schloss Neuschwanstein (New Swan castle), Old town Fuessen
- Sightseeing: Schloss Lindenhof (Lindenhof castle)
Day 11-13: Transfer to Salzburg
- Sightseeing: old town Salzburg e.g. Mozart's Geburthaus (Birthplace), cathedral, Getriedgasse
- Sightseeing: Schloss Hellbrunn - "Sound of Music" pavilion (where "16 going on 17" was shot), famous Trick fountain, huge kids playground
- Kid' stuff: Salt mine tour in Bechtesgaden
- Kid's stuff + sightseeing: Jenner's mountain (1800m) on Jennerbahn; Koenigsee (King's Lake) boat cruise
Day 14: Transfer from Salzburg to Munich; Depart from Munich
Yes, we've got friends in Stuttgart so we spent more time there. Besides, Legoland is not that big. So if you purchase a night's accommodation at their resort, you are entitled to 2 days pass.
