it takes time to get used to the shoe insoles. When i started wearing it, the podiatrist suggest to do it progressively. From 2 hours per day, increase bit by bit, until wearing it full time.
Yes, it is true some people don't like it and put the shoe insoles aside. But, if one has pain and every step is painful... it is a different story. The shoe insoles would really help, at least they helped me.
yes, go to private ones if the public hospitals don't offer the service or materials...when i had mine from the public hospital, actually, the podiatrist was very nice.... once and again, he helped me to trim my shoe insoles because they were so painful for me to wear.... but after many times of adjustment, still i was painful.... i felt 5 好意思 to go back again... and i gave up..... went to the private one.
