I cannot be certain why they put all 4 embryos in one tube. Perhaps due to the poorer quality, they charge you one instead of 4?
Given your age, you may transfer 3 embryos. I suspect perhaps 1 of the embryos may not survive thawing?
I wonder what your doctor has to say on the day before your transfer. He may suggest you to culture the 4 embryos to blastocyst(s) before transfer? But if so, why freeze at 8-cell but not at blastocysts??
Hi cutecutetown,PGD PGS results were out and one of the embryo has something called Mosaic pattern in its chromosome?? (forgot exactly what I got told). Doctor said it is POSSIBLE for it to become a healthy baby IF it can be carried to full term, however it can be miscarried easier than other embryos which doesn't have such chromosome pattern. Between the words, I sense that there can still be health risk due to the "mosaic pattern". May I know more about this topic? Are there more possible problem induced from such case? what risks are there? Is it a wiser move to have another egg retrieval for possible more perfect embryos, instead of transferring that Mosaic one?
