nowadays most company do that. our company have 8 weeks notice. in the past, all paid in cash, now notify u 2 months ahead. so during these 2 months, people come late leave early, snake out for job interview..
遣散費 have to fit the minimum requirement of hte labour law, i.e. 2/3 of your monthly salary or cap by the ceiling... so if you are high paid staff, then yes.. you won't be getting anything as employer's MPF contribution is already over the limit..
but at least you got your double pay... so most of the senior position staff, they will resign by their own, only small potato like me, will wait for the lay off package..
